Details from this Chef's Kitchen that we love!
On average, we spend one hour every day in our kitchen. It may not seem like a lot but whether you’re on the go or spending extra time to curate a delicious meal, we all want a space that works for our needs and helps us start and end each day with a full stomach!
Today, we’re taking a peek into this Bonavista Renovation to see some of the details that make it a true “Chef’s Kitchen”.
Optimized Flow Within the Kitchen
This kitchen was made for a chef, but we can all take note of some of the important details included to promote flow.
The dual ovens are on one end of the kitchen, out of the way of the primary work triangle of the stove, fridge, and sink!
If you’re sharing your kitchen with another chef, there is ample space for one person to be working on a plethora of side dishes on the stove while another manages the entree in the oven.
So much Storage!
This kitchen has no storage of space for keeping all of your tools!
Our Tip: prioritize space for your everyday, most used items and keep seasonal items, linens, and specialty items out of the main kitchen where possible!

Over the stove Pot Filler
This pot filler is an excellent feature for someone who spends a lot of time cooking on the stove.
Better yet, this feature will grow old with you, reducing the need to carry heavy pots full of water across the kitchen.
Easy Flow into the Dining Room
When you’re not entertaining right in the kitchen, the dining room is only a few steps away.
Wide walkways and an open layout minimize opportunities for food to spill onto the floor. The only one who might not like this feature is your dog!
