For the basement development project, the clients envisioned a space that seamlessly blended sophistication with comfort, catering to both entertaining guests and accommodating their children.

• Throughout the area, LVP flooring was installed, offering durability and style.

• Slat walls were strategically placed at the bottom of the stairs and in walk areas, providing privacy and delineating spaces without obstructing natural light or closing off small areas.

• Built-in cabinets were incorporated at the walkout entrance, offering additional storage for seasonal items and backyard necessities.

• A focal point of the basement was the oak wet bar, featuring polished solid surface countertops and a full-height backsplash with tile mimicking a brick look.

• Adjacent to the bar, a sitting area provided a gathering space for family activities, from board games to adult events, reflecting the clients' frequent entertaining lifestyle.

• A unique feature included a gym floor with a playful black and white large checked pattern, adding a touch of fun to the space. Creative storage solutions were implemented, such as shelving under the stairs cleverly disguised as a door.

• The bar area showcased sleek black floating shelves, enhancing the modern aesthetic.

• The bathroom boasted luxurious amenities, including a dry sauna and a shower with black-framed glass, hardware, and faucet, with simple wall tiles allowing the herringbone floor tiles to steal the spotlight.

Overall, the basement development fulfilled the clients' desires for a multifunctional space that exuded sophistication while maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere.
