The original owners of this Douglasdale home have maintained ownership for 25 years, and the first significant update took place in 2020. Our goal was to provide a clean, modern transformation that would bring new enjoyment to the homeowners for another 25 years!
To maximize space, we utilized the square footage from bedroom #3 to expand the ensuite, enhancing the overall value of the home. The bathroom received notable upgrades, including double shower heads, a freestanding tub for added functionality, and the incorporation of a tower for extra storage.
In the living and dining areas, we eliminated walls that hindered the home's flow, creating an open layout. A complete overhaul of the kitchen involved a new layout, featuring the addition of an island for increased counter space. Instead of retaining the previous corner pantry, we introduced additional cabinets to optimize the layout and ensure ample storage for the homeowners.
To achieve the desired modern aesthetic, we installed a 10mm glass for the stairwell and integrated pot lights throughout the home, providing the finishing touches that perfectly encapsulate the homeowners' vision.
